How To Enroll a User with a QR Code Credential

To enroll using a QR code:

1. From the Credentials tab, select Enroll a QR code.

2. The Generate a QR code screen opens.

3. Select the QR Type:

– Simple text: contains only the credential ID in decimals (default).

– KONE: contains an 8-character credential ID in lower case HEX. Example — Credential ID 8541334 → HEX 05174DD6 → QR code 05174dd6.

4. Select the Protocol: click the dropdown and select the protocol.

5. Click Generate to create a unique random ID (length depends on the selected Wiegand protocol).

Step 5: generate ID

6. Click Save. The QR code is added to the list of credentials in User Properties.
