Summary:

Recently, Rosslare has released the AY-K35-S multi smart secure reader. Following this release, we are provided a SW patch to support the AY-K35-S as any other Rosslare's OSDP reader. 

This Technical note allows you to apply a patch to support the AY-K35-S

How to Apply the Patch:

  1. Open Task Manager in Windows. 
  2. 2. Select the Services tab:
     
  3. Right click on AxTraxPro Server Service.
     
  4. Click “Stop”
  5. Download the patch file from: http://u.pc.cd/FnNctalK
  6. Extract the patch file on your PC to a known location (Desktop for example).
  7. Locate the server installation path of AxTraxPro Server, usually under C:\Program Files (x86)\Rosslare\AxTraxProServer 
  8. Preserve the file: 'ACEntities.dll’ by renaming it to ‘ACEntities.dllOLD’.
  9. Copy the new 'ACEntities.dll’ file to the same path.
  10. Locate the server installation Firmware path of AxTraxPro Server, usually under C:\Program Files (x86)\Rosslare\AxTraxPro Server\Firmware 
  11. Copy the AC-825IP firmware filr "AC825v05_00_20.hex" to this folder.
  12. Locate the client installation path of AxTraxPro Client, usually under C:\Program Files (x86)\Rosslare\AxTraxProClient
  13.  Preserve the file: 'ACEntities.dll’ by renaming it to ‘ACEntities.dllOLD’.
  14. Copy the new 'ACEntities.dll’ file to the same path.
  15. Repeat steps 12-14  on any AxTraxPro client PC. 
  16. Go back to the Services screen. 
  17. Right-click on AxTraxPro Server Service

  19. Click “Start”
  20. Update the AC-825IP firmware to Firmware version AC825v05_00_20.hex 
  21. Now the patch is applied.
